Excluding files and folders from On-Demand scans in iolo AntiVirus

Step-by-step Instructions
- Open iolo AntiVirus™
- Click the Settings link located on the red bar menu.
- Select the On-Demand tab.
- Under Specify What to Scan>Select specific files and folder types to include or exclude locate the two options for setting up exclusions, Excluded Folders and Excluded Files.
- To exclude a folder, click the corresponding Change link. Click the Add button, then browse to the folder you wish to exclude and click OK to add it. When you are finished adding folders, click Done.
- To exclude a file, click the corresponding Change link. Click the Add button, then browse to the file you wish to exclude and click OK to add it. When you are finished adding files, click Done.
- Select or clear the Scan archives, Scan packed executables, and Scan self-extracting files options, depending on preference. For more information regarding these options refer to the product help file.
- Click Save when you are finished making exclusions. Your On-Demand scans will no longer find or remove these files or folders for any reason.
